Should You Manage Your Own Google Ads or Hire Help?

Many owners can learn Google Ads. The real question is whether doing it yourself is the best use of your time and budget.

When managing it yourself can work

  • Your budget is small and you are willing to learn
  • Your business has a narrow, simple offer and a small service area
  • You have time every week to review search terms, bids, and results
  • You enjoy the work and are comfortable with Google's tools

When hiring help usually pays off

  • You have tried it and results stalled or costs climbed
  • You cannot consistently find time every week or two
  • You want to use Performance Max, AI campaign types, or ChatGPT ads with proper guardrails
  • Your tracking is uncertain, so you do not know what is really working
  • Your budget is large enough that waste is expensive

A middle path

If you want to keep control, an account audit shows what to fix and what to leave alone. If you would rather hand it off, I manage the account inside your own Google Ads, so you keep full ownership and visibility.

Let's talk about your advertising.

Tell me a little about your business. I will look at where you are now and tell you honestly whether I can help.
