I ran my first Google Ads campaign in 2002. Since then I have owned two marketing agencies, managed campaigns for well over 100 clients, and built and sold three ecommerce businesses using my own ad budgets. After years serving clients from Mount Dora, Florida, I moved Artisan Internet Marketing to Greenville in 2023. Today I help a small number of businesses get more from Google Ads and the new AI ad platforms.
I have spent my own money on ads
Few people who manage ad budgets have built businesses with their own. Through Hippo Inc, I became a leading online seller of bellman carts for the hospitality industry. Rhino Goods reached millions of dollars in Amazon sales before its assets were sold. Collected Foods, a spice blend brand I co-founded, was acquired in 2021. Each depended on advertising paid for out of my own pocket. I treat your ad budget the way I treated mine.
I have always been a teacher
I started in IT training, ran internet marketing meetups and classes in Charlotte, and served as Director of Training for Social Fresh at national conferences. I was a featured AI Technology speaker at MomentumGVL 2026, the Greenville Chamber's business growth summit. Teaching is why I explain things plainly, and clients often mention it.

Rooted in Greenville
I am active with the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, and I run Greenville Kudos, a directory of more than 2,000 Upstate businesses. My office is at 301 Augusta St in Greenville, and I am glad to meet in person.
